Used to facilitate loading automobiles into box cars, the doors were placed on the "A" ends. The 5/4 ends were primarily used by eastern railroads (photos show them used on NYC, PRR, GTW, and MILW box cars). Designed to fit the S-scale Pacific Rail Shops/S Scale America 40' and 50' box cars.
