Lightweight passenger car roof detail. These roof vents were commonly used on streamlined cars built by AC&F. Each pack contains 12 AC&F vents with grille detail. The parts have been cleaned with an ultra-sonic cleaner, so there is no worry about mold release agent residue.
The MP, PRR, D&RGW, SP, and Southern used these vents on some of their baggage and RPO cars, while Lackawanna and GM&O used them on some of their AC&F-built coach and lounge cars. The IC used them on their motor cars. A small number of the cars built for these roads were eventually sold to the NYS&W and the D&H.
The additional photo shows the vents installed on an American Models car (not included!).
