The SP had 2,600 of these 42' gondolas, classes G-50-22, G-50-27, and G-50-28. These were built from 1948 to 1958. These cars could carry loads as varied as beets, stone, coal, rails, pipe, or machinery. The kit consists of a high-grade resin one-piece body, with separate underframe and inner floor.
